# Cyber Defense — English Video Transcript

Illustrated walkthrough; synthetic English narration (Samantha).

## Cyber Defense with Mithril

Use Mithril App and Desktop to turn evidence into a defensive plan. This illustrated Dojo exercise uses synthetic logs. Humans authorize actions, review findings, and verify changes.

## 01 / Define the boundary

Write the asset, permitted methods, time window, exclusions, data rules, and stop contact. For real work, obtain written asset owner authorization. Signing in does not authorize an investigation.

## 02 / Start in Mithril App

Open Mithril App and start a Chat. Review model, usage, and data handling. Paste the synthetic fixture from the workbook. Ask for a timeline, observations, hypotheses, and unknowns. Request no tools or network access.

## 03 / Verify the evidence

The fixture shows two failed logins, a success with MFA false, and an admin role change. It does not prove compromise or MFA bypass. An approved administrator action is another explanation. Check the source and record what remains unknown.

## 04 / Continue in Desktop

Open your installed Mithril Desktop and note its version. Deliberately transfer the sanitized scope and fixture. Verify the copy. Do not assume history synchronization. If local tools are available, inspect their scope and begin read only. Keep originals unchanged.

## 05 / Engineer the fix

Ask for a lab change ticket: require MFA for privileged login, restrict role changes, and record the actor. The engineer owns implementation and rollback. Obtain change approval, record the failing baseline, and apply controls through the isolated lab configuration.

## 06 / Retest and report

Retest with an authorized reviewer. Confirm missing MFA and unapproved role changes are rejected, while an approved change works and is audited. Record actual results and versions. If tests were not run, say not run. Review the report and share through the approved channel.

## Practice in Mithril Dojo

Use the English workbook in Mithril Dojo to practice each step. Keep facts, proposals, applied changes, and retest results separate. This is an illustrated lesson with synthetic English narration, not a live product demonstration.
